Plot Outline: Screenwriter Jeffrey Nachmanoff (THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW) fashions a dark ensemble comedy around one eventful night in the lives of a group of eccentric Los Angelinos in his full-length directorial debut HOLLYWOOD PALMS. The action takes place in the titular apartment building, where former child-star Clark (Patrick Labyorteaux) relives the trauma of his own youthful acting career (it involved a talking skunk) while managing a quirky roster of tenants that includes Jeff (Dean Cameron) and Blair (Elizabeth Mitchell), a broken-up couple forced to live together to cover the rent; and Phoebe (Paget Brewster) and Kathleen (Kristen Bauer), unlikely roommates whose polar-opposite personalities clash on a frequent basis.
